How to install the game Suikoden Higheast Rebellion?

1) Download the game folder * and unzip it.

2) Open the "Fonts" folder and drag its contents into the Font folder of your computer (Accessible via Control Panel, display fonts)

3) Open the folder "RGSS" and move its contents: :

To the system32 folder of your computer (located in the Windows folder) if you are running XP or Vista

To the Windows folder if you're on Seven and the previous item does not work

If nothing works, in the same folder as the file game.exe.

4) Start the game.exe

Have fun!

N.B. If you have some difficulties in certain passages of the demo, see the walkthrough.

Action buttons :

C / entry: confirmed

X / esc: refuse and open the menu

F12: completely stop the game

In Duel :

Top: Attack

Left: Defense

Right: Fierce Attack

Bottom: Power of Will

Major identified bugs

There are still many small bugs, but some are more annoying than others

If you win a Ring of Blood, DO NOT EQUIP IT! Or, just before the very last boss after the last savepoint in sewers..

Some sound file may miss and make the game crash, because of special character in French. Well... It will be hard for you, english users, but you can correct the sound name in the Audi/SE folder. Select the file which name is similar as the one missing, duplicate it and rename it as the missing file. For example "epee.mp3" renamed as "épée.mp3"

A word of the boss :

First of all, thank you for trying this demo game. You will find it short. The main game is still work-in-progress, and there're many to do before final release. Avygeil, Canelle and me worked only on essentials features in order to release this demo. Expect to have more characters, systems, maps in the final game. Much more.
You will start with Luke and Sera, who will show you how works battle and duels. At that time, Luke is still the instructor of Sera. Only those who played Suikoden III know the fate of these two characters. Connoisseurs will wonder why we have decided to take them back .... You will have the answer in the full game.
The sounds are ripped by me on various professional games, mainly Suikoden III, Soul Calibur III, Shadow Hearts and others.
The next demo will be much more substantial, even though you won't have all systems. Stores objects, runes, blacksmithing, or merchants of antiques will not yet be used.

Anyway, this project won't die, unless the very one Konami announce a Suikoden HighEast the Rebellion.
